LEVEL PORTO CERVO <\/span>C\u00e9dric Dasesson<\/small><\/h2>

The AB Factory Cultural Association in collaboration with Dope Factory and the support of Fondazione Banco di Sardegna is pleased to present the new C\u00e8dric Dasesson exhibition: LEVEL PORTO CERVO.
\n<\/h1>\n

After the great success in Cagliari of the first solo show in Italy of LEVEL, the new exhibition presents a curated selection of works that tell of an unpublished Sardinia, however, and almost paradoxically, on the symbolic places of Porto Cervo.<\/h2>\n

C\u00e9dric Dasesson photographically elaborates the three interpretative “levels” of the seascape: underwater, on the surface and from above where “drones fly” against the background of an introspective vision represented in a series of exclusive shots.<\/p>\n

The images of C\u00e9dric Dasesson<\/strong> focus on iconic settings of northern Sardinia<\/strong>, such as the marvelous Spiaggia del Principe<\/strong> or the granitic mountain that pours out into the sea of \u200b\u200bTavolara.<\/p>\n

They are shots that testify the articulated research of the international photographer specially dedicated to Sardinia.<\/p>\n

The photographs of Dasesson explore imaginary lines and curves, which emerge from the seabed on the surface, rise up to observe the lines of the horizon, descend to the shoreline and lap the shores of the beaches of Porto Cervo.<\/p>\n

The works intervene in interpreting interpretations of the naturalistic and inner visions of the young photographer, explored and told for cognitive “levels”, many to allow a personalization for each of his collectors.<\/p>\n

There are no photographs or snapshots that capture the moment, but taken careful, slow, preceded by long studies “introspective” in search of the variable natural geometries that represent, for a fraction of a second, the extraordinary balance between the combined water motions , air and light, in the levels of the underwater, of the surface, above and in elevation, where man and nature can coexist in absolute harmony.<\/p>\n

The art historian Roberto Concas writes: “The works of C\u00e9dric Dasesson find a meaning from the submerged level to the emergence of water and land, looking for interpretive lines to represent those unique, exclusive,” perfect “natural conditions, almost perfect draw with geometric Cartesian coordinates ”<\/p>\n

LEVEL - abstract<\/h2>

For the first time, C\u00e9dric Dasesson tells the secret places of his photos taken in Sardinia.<\/h2>\n

The works of C\u00e9dric Dasesson follow the so-called “Natural Order of Things”, that is the condition of absolute synthesis and harmony, between nature and man, from which to leave for an ordered, comprehensible as well as elaborate story.<\/p>\n

C\u00e9dric’s shots are like “variations on the theme” for visions and introspections from different points where, changing the order of factors the artistic “message” does not change in the three levels of knowledge: Under Sea, Sea Level and Above Sea.<\/p>\n

From the submerged level to the emergence of water and land in search of interpretive lines to represent those unique, exclusive, perfect “natural conditions” almost as if they were drawn with geometrical Cartesian coordinates.<\/p>\n

The formal thought, the continuity and the stylistic coherence of C\u00e9dric’s photographic works can be found in the extraordinarily exclusive interpretations of the colors and the infinite architectural compositions of the seascapes.<\/p>\n

C\u00e9dric does not fear, in his images, to offer the sensations of the “already known”, as happened in the great works of art of Renaissance artists, baroque, vedutists and divisionists, it is precisely “the deception” that counts, what allows to the viewer to overcome the initial threshold of “distrust” and then to pause the time necessary to “understand”, interpret, open to knowledge, experience, to universal beauty.<\/p>\n

In fact, once this threshold has been exceeded, immediately in the vision of C\u00e9dric Dasesson’s works, for the viewer, there are openings of knowledge that have remained unexplored and that lead to investigate that unique photographic ensemble, composed of feelings, sensations, thought, form, color, lines , matter, balance and movement.<\/p>\n

C\u00e9dric Dasesson is one of the few international photographers, able to rediscover the absolute synthesis between the nature of the universal marine landscape and the “emerged” lines of the lands as well as of contemporary architecture.
\nHis shots explore imaginary lines and curves that emerge from the seabed surface, rise up to observe the lines of the horizon, descend to the shoreline, lapping the coast to climb again on the cliffs to peak.
\nDasesson, with a following of hundreds of thousands of followers, is a refined interpreter of “collective imaginaries”, where environment, man and nature coexist in absolute balance and harmony, while his images “patinate”, avidly sought after by the finest magazines worldwide , mark the infinite boundaries of a shared universality.
