The passion for colors and design has been with her since childhood. After attending the “G. Brotzu “in Quartu Sant’Elena (Cagliari) she enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, a course of study that soon interrupts, driven by the desire to break free from institutions and academic canons and to freely express his art and colors .
The works of Milena Emme are populated by unnerved, bewitched and doubtful modesty female figures, often inserted into an atemporal space with a dreamlike atmosphere. Unmistakable are the large and shining inquisitive eyes, wide-eyed looks framed by thick colored hair that float in space.
Today Milena lives and works in Sardinia and develops her art through drawing, painting and printing on various media.
