Aperitif to the Letter

Rotaract Club Quartu Sant’Elena Margine Rosso in collaboration with the cultural association The AB Factory, are proud to invite you to the charity evening “Aperitivo to the LETTER”.

The Rotaract in the continuation of its activities to offer young people an opportunity to strengthen their skills, serve the community, broaden their cultural horizons and help children, is happy to organize an evening dedicated to art and culture with the support of the art gallery The AB Factory.

The charity event will be held on Saturday 28th October 2017, in Via Alagon 29 in Cagliari, from 6.00 pm to 10.00 pm, in the company of the DJ-set of Nostal Chic and wine cellar tasting from Audarya.

The AB Factory continues his commitment to supporting art and artists, hosting a live painting of the artist during the evening Marjani along with a session of live retouchè of his limited edition Art Backers.

The entire profit of the evening will be donated to the “Come Essere a Casa” club project dedicated to the Microcrytemic Transplant Center, bringing art into children’s rooms and giving them a sincere smile.

How to be at home is the project of the Rotaract Club Quartu Sant’Elena Margine Rosso

aimed at the long-term inpatients of the Microcitemic transplant center which aims to alleviate and make the hospital as light as possible.

Hospitalization involves tangible and not negligible problems on the patient and family, leading to the destruction of the domestic routine, to the change in family relationships, to the difficulty in combining different roles such as spouse, parent, worker, and an increase of tension and suffering expressed in anger, fear, uncertainty, frustration and guilt.

We want those who have the misfortune of being forced to stay in the sterile rooms of the hospital have the opportunity to get distracted, connect with the world, live in the absence of contamination but still full of stimuli coming from outside; from a world in which we want to make it return more integrated, connected and participatory than before. We want to allow the doctors and nurses of the Department to tell patients and family members: “you’ll see that you’ll feel a bit at home …
